Application Overview
echoCare eShop is a shopping and order management solution designed for home care and everyday purchasing scenarios. The platform consists of two interfaces: a Caregiver/User App and a Store Management Portal, connected through a cloud-based backend system linking partner stores, caregivers, and end users.
The service enables ordering of general consumer goods and health-related consumer products (such as dietary supplements and consumables), assisted pickup services, and inventory management.
Important Notice:
This App does not provide medical services, medical advice, or diagnostic functions, and does not involve prescription drug transactions. All health-related products available are non-prescription consumer goods.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
Personal Information We Collect or Process
“Personal Information” refers to information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Depending on how you interact with the service, your location, and applicable legal requirements, we may collect or process the following categories of information.
If you choose not to provide certain required information, you may be unable to register, place orders, receive deliveries, or use certain features.
Contact Information – Name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address
Financial Information – Credit card details and transaction records
Account Information – Username, password, and account settings
Transaction Information – Products viewed, purchased, returned, exchanged, or canceled, and order history
Customer Communications – Information provided when contacting customer support
Device Information – Device type, browser, IP address, and other identifiers
Usage Information – How and when you interact with the service
iOS / Android App Permissions
When using our iOS or Android App, you may be asked to grant the following optional permissions. You may disable them at any time in your device settings:
Camera Access – Used solely for caregiver barcode scanning. Not used for advertising or tracking.
Push Notifications – Used for order reminders, order status updates, and important service notifications.
You may review or modify these permissions in App Settings → Privacy.
Cross-App Tracking Policy (iOS 14+ ATT Framework)
echoCare eShop strictly complies with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
Currently:
- We do not display the ATT authorization prompt because we do not engage in tracking as defined by Apple.

- We do not perform cross-app or cross-website tracking.
- We do not share your data with third-party advertising networks for tracking purposes.
- We do not use IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers).
- App permissions (camera, notifications) do not involve cross-app tracking.
- If we ever introduce cross-app tracking in the future, we will:
- Clearly explain the purpose of tracking
- Present Apple’s ATT system authorization prompt
- Obtain your explicit consent before proceeding
How We Use Your Personal Information
We use your personal information for the following purposes:
- Service Provision & Order Processing – To process payments, fulfill orders, arrange deliveries, handle returns/refunds, and provide a personalized shopping experience.
- Customer Support – To respond to inquiries, provide technical support, and maintain our service relationship with you.
- Security & Fraud Prevention – To verify accounts, secure payment processes, and detect or prevent fraudulent or malicious activities.
- Legal Compliance – To comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful government requests, or protect our legal rights.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right of Access – Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Deletion – Request deletion of your personal information (see “How to Delete Your Account and Data” below).

This service is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the legal age of majority. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to request deletion.
Third-Party Websites and Links
Our service may contain links to third-party websites that are not operated or controlled by us. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of those websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or security.
How to Delete Your Account and Data
(Applicable to users in Taiwan)
Method 1 – In-App Deletion
- Open the echoCare eShop App
- Go to “Member” → “Account Management”
- Tap “Delete Account” and complete identity verification
- Your personal data will be fully deleted within 30 days
Method 2 – Email Request
- Send an email to: echocare_privacy@compal.com
- Subject line: “Account Deletion Request”
Include: Registered email address and full name - We will process your request within 5 business days.
After Deletion
- All personal data will be permanently removed
- Order records will be anonymized and retained for accounting compliance
- The account cannot be restored
- Ongoing orders or refunds may be affected
- If you have pending orders or refunds, we recommend completing them before deleting your account.
Data Retention
- Transaction Records – Retained for 2 years after order completion (for accounting and tax compliance)
- Personal Data – Fully deleted within 30 days after account deletion
- Legally Required Data – Retained as required by applicable laws (e.g., financial or dispute resolution records)
Native App Features
The echoCare eShop iOS/Android App includes:
- Native iOS/Android interface design
- Guest browsing (view products without logging in)
- Apple Pay integration
- Push notifications for real-time order updates
- Barcode scanning using native camera APIs
These features are natively developed to ensure a secure, smooth, and high-performance user experience.
